About Us
The Best Birth and Wellness Clinic in Dallas
This collaborative was birthed out of a few dreams and a long, hard labor. We invite you into our community and our hearts.

Midwife Amy
Owner, LM, CPM
Midwife Amy has worked in supporting women as a doula, birth assistant, lactation counselor and midwife for over 20 years. She grew up in the birth world. She and her brothers were born at home. Her mother was a La Leche League Leader and taught childbirth education classes for a midwife in Austin in the early 70’s. Amy began training as a midwife in 1990 after her first two sons were born at home. After her first husband passed away from mental illness, she stepped away from midwifery and worked as a successful business manager. Her lifelong passion drew her back to midwifery to complete her clinical training in 2013. In 2018 Amy opened a Dallas birth center, where she lovingly grew and ran the practice for almost 4 years as a co-owner, Midwife and Clinical Director. In late 2021, she formed Swiss Avenue Birth and Wellness Collaborative, a small boutique midwifery practice that can tailor care to each family.
Amy has been married to her husband Jim for 23 years and has 4 sons. She is a long time resident of Old East Dallas.

Andrea has always had a passion for childbirth since she was a child. She started her journey as a student midwife in 2019, and is a graduate student from Southwest Technical College.
In addition to being a student midwife, she has been a doula since 2016, and has served over 150 families across the metroplex. Andrea is the mother of four daughters. She birthed all four naturally. Kirstyn Elliott
Client Laison
Meet Kirstyn Elliott! She moved to Fort Worth from Abilene, TX in August of 2024 to accept this job, and is loving it. Kirstyn lived in Abilene for 19 years where she was homeschooled all the way through high school. Having grown up in a musical family, she learned to sing at 7 years old and has fallen in love with it ever since. She began teaching herself over the past 13 years. Kirstyn has been serving in worship ministry for 7 years at her former church and other areas in Abilene; her home church is Beltway Park Church! She also has been playing guitar and piano for several years and loves to write her own original songs, which she would love to eventually record and release.
After graduating in 2022, she went to Abilene Christian University for a year to study Worship Ministry and Interior Architecture & Design.
Here is what she has to say, “I have let the Lord guide my steps while moving to Fort Worth to see what He has planned for me here! I live to glorify God and working here is just another amazing opportunity to do that and serve His kingdom.”
